The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Completed the first two of my trilogy about fallen angels, vampires , and demons - oh my!
Now, on to continuing my writing of the third - which will most likely take forever as well - and the collection of short stories.

For two days straight, there has been a strange-looking bird (duck)? walking around on the street near my job. It doesn't seem to have an injured wing, but it's definitely lost. Doesn't look like a native bird to the area. Anyway, to keep it from going out into traffic after work today, I fed the big doofus noodles from the chow mein that I had for dinner. Yeah - I made a new friend. I was sad when I had to leave him/her though, as no one showed up from animal control. I hope the bird will be okay...

My youngest sister and I planned Mom's service, designed the obituary, etc. Actually, my sis did the bulk of everything, as she was my mom's caretaker and besides me, a co-power of attorney. (I never handled anything though). My middle sister is still struggling with our mom's passing, especially as she didn't get to see Mom for almost 2 years. Plus - my sisters can't stand each other.
Anyway, everyone behaved at the funeral, with the majority of us going to the middle sister's house. (The youngest went to a restaurant, with her kids).

I was on autopilot for awhile, But I am now functioning on a more or less 'normal' level.
